As Key Account Manager your goal is to achieve the Liquids Division’s key commercial objectives, by proactively establishing and managing relationships at multiple levels.

- You coordinate all activities within your customer’s account (region: Belgium and The Netherlands) taking a bespoke approach based on each customer’s requirements.
- You’re responsible for the delivery of budgeted customer Volume, NSV and CGP of the Financial Year for relevant customers.
- You continually evaluate the customer product mix to drive improved profitability incorporating initiatives from marketing.
- You’re responsible for managing product cost prices to maximise contribution including the implementation of cost increases when required.
- You take the lead with buyers to secure the optimum distribution level & fixture space for all supplied products.
- By effectively managing & resolving all customer pricing queries directly with the customer, you ensure a healthy balance sheet and minimise financial losses.
- You ensure forecast accuracy is in line with account targets and working collaboratively with the demand planner.
- As a customer expert within McBride, you defend the accounts strategy and pass this information on to the wider organisation.
- You continually promote improvement of processes with the account team to deliver operational excellence within the commercial environment.
- As Key Account Manager you’ll lead & deliver customer end to end supply chain projects with a view to releasing as much value as possible with relevant internal input.
PROFILE DESCRIPTION
As Key Account Manager you’re holder of a university degree or equivalent by experience.
- You have a first account management experience, experience in FMCG is an asset.
- You have a solid understanding of company and customer supply chains.
- You have a highly developed sense of commercial awareness and know how to create long term relationships with customers.
- You’re numerate with strong analytical and problem solving ability. You have a hands-on approach and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- You’re able to prioritise, demonstrating first class organisational skills and time management skills
- You know how to remain calm whilst working in a multi-task environment and with the tenacity to deal with resistance.
- You’re able to influence, both internally and externally.
- As Key Account Manager you have excellent Dutch and English Skills. Knowledge of French is a real plus.
